Launch new luxury 55-room resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The property is the first of its kind in that it featured an extensive wine library of over 250 brands and 8,000 bottles from all over the world. In addition, a cigar bar and lounge along with gourmet restaurant, fusion and casual restaurants would also be offered. For the Caribbean these amenities and facilities are virtually unheard of, particularly in the Dominican Republic known for inexpensive all-inclusive. The PR strategy was to launch this new product while repositioning the Dominican Republic to change the traveling public’s opinion of the island.

Secure targeted editorial coverage in top tier luxury media outlets in the U.S. announcing the opening of this new high-end resort. To incorporate key message of repositioning the Dominican Republic and the traveling public’s perception of the island.

Because the agency also represents another Dominican Republic property on the opposite coast (Casa Colonial Beach Resort) we positioned both properties as leading the charge in reshaping the image of the Dominican Republic.
